a 27K Poly ship from my files. I made this myself. I don't know what ship it could be, or if it could be a new one, but the SS engine does not seem to have a problem with it. Also, it's not flat in the least bit.

Whoa. This is awesome, 27k though is a bit much for SS unless it's freaking huge. You'd have to talk to the guys who do the models for SS to see.

And now I want to play Mass Effect 2, damn it TCGM...

WELLLLL.... I did kinda design it to be larger than a dreadnought.... and lol ME2 Reference :D. But I tried this out even on my shitty laptop, and it still runs it @ about 20fps, ingame. Note my shittop has 128mb of video memory and a 1.8ghz pentium 2.

Also a completely unelated note; I made a stress tester 444k poly model to check SS's max poly count. Turns out SS can only handle about 300k~ before being unable to load.

Wayyyyyyyyyy too many polys. More than 1 of these ships in a galaxy would cause some serious hate for lower end pc's.

Reminds me of a messed and upside-down Gallente Myrmidon. That "engine" knob looks like the knob on that Battlecruiser. Except it's on the top, instead of the bottom.

Ok, now it looks like a Venator class Star Destroyer(Esp 3)'s bridge, crossed with a Myrmidon, and maybe some influence from Tornado class battlecruiser from the Minmatar.
