HAL has added a new feature which directly reduces concussion effects - the items reduce it from 20 - 80%. First time an idea or shit with anything to do with my whining has worked. <3

Capacitors are the least worst choice Bonecrusher wrote: Because JeffL doesn't want to give the players a real choice. No effect by upgrading the Nav Comp is the only choice that makes sense. No extra weight, no extra space used, NO FUCKING AROUND WITH KEYS IN BATTLE that you shouldn't have to worry about.

You do realise that "the Nav Comp" isn't actually a coded entity..right? And you do realize that Concussions DO NOT NEED to be in SS... RIGHT? remove the F'ing code and its in the Nav Comp, plain and simple! +Inertia (<DAMPNER>) was placed on the best item it could be WELL NOW! Are they Dampeners or Capacitors? Or is your TROLLING getting mixed up?

Oh, shut the fuck up you idiot. That's the name for the effect, in the CODE. Not even i'm this stupid. Say, since he's quit already, can we just ban him from the forums? And while you're at it, ban katz. All he posts are stupid youtube vids.

Bonecrusher, will you quit bitching? If you really were going to quit, you would have moved on already, instead of spamming forums crying about concussions. If you can't MC now, that's more a reflection of your skill (or lack thereof) than the brokenness of the change. Just shut up already, nobody gives a shit.

Bonecrusher, in all seriousness, are you really quitting? If you've quit, then why are you still fighting about this? Shouldn't someone with the presumable maturity of a 60+ year old be rational enough to move on and stop complaining about, and I can't emphasize this enough, A GAME?

That's just it, from his posts i HIGHLY and i mean HIGHLY doubt he is 60+ years old. If he is DAMN generally you hit puberty around 13, guess he is just starting his.

I'm bitching because I ENJOYED SS. I like my team and have friends on it. Concussions have ruined it for me. I've spent thousands of hrs bringing up three alts, first Thummper (and had to quit due to illness) and now Bonecrusher and Bonehead. I have a vested interest in getting SS back on tract.

Re: Knock-back mitigating items to be released
Having tested it, 80% of concussions is a gentle rocking of a sailing ship on calm water. Zerkers might use the 40% or 60% to maximise their tweak attacks, Snipers might use them to prevent their own knock-back, and tanks on uber runs might have them to help healers - there's some interesting tactics open with them. I used shield capacitors because ShM alts always prefer +shield, I think? I can make a line of energy ones easily enough, if they prove popular. As for the rest of it:

Re: Knock-back mitigating items to be released
Hello Honestly, i dont like concussions and knock-back efect bcs when i start killing AIs like Corrupted Guardian and when those little Clops die, it throws me like 200-300 distance, and every time i lose precious time and energy trying to come on CG again. Its annoying, but i must adapt as all other players in this game. If you are planing to add knock-back mitigating items i suggest they should be size 10 max. And price should be high if size should max 10.

Nice one. Also, energycaps would be a nice choice And combi caps. I would probably utilise the Energycaps on my Shm tbh.

ShMs don't really get much benefit from a shield cap. Since the extra bank from the cap doesn't multiply with skills or augs in any way, it actually makes a very small diference to their overall shield bank. I think most ShMs are actually far more likely to use an energy cap. Besides, ShMs aren't the only ones who need these Would it be possible to add this effect as a mod on dropped shield caps or possibly other items? like a Liberty Shield Cap II* Dampened or something? I think that would be nice, especially if the Dampened attribute was added as it's own chance of occuring so it wouldn't cancel out the chances of other mods.
