Post Capital ships on test
I copied over the current db to test2 and added the main line of capital ships for purchase at Earth Central.

Also on test is:

Code that generates automatic collision spheres for many of the ships, giving more accurate collision. I update the collision on many of the ships, including the player-obtainable UZ ships. I also resized the Rhino, since it was so big.

Many of the field generators have been modified and made capital ship only.

You can now double-click on an item-form ship while docked at an AI base to turn it into ship form.

The ships with built in augs have had the augs removed, those augs have been made into zero-stat augs and non-sticky, and the bonuses from those augs have been put into the hulls.

Big ships can warp from farther away from the wormholes than smaller ships.

The Tweak icons that rotate around ships have a tighter radius. (Need to re-get the latest test client to see this.)

Fixed the Seer's ethereal bonus.

i'm guessing you mean ship A (lets say its a freighter) can warp from (this is just an example) 500 further from the warp then ship B (lets say...a hotrod)

Um, the capital ships don't have those nice big capital ship bays. ALso, I cannot test it out, because of the FotG nerf. Can't you just make FotG tech 14 again, change it back once these are released for good?

Well iv tested teh Cap Ship's out and it seem's there's a few things missin that maby ur still workin on but 1 thing is teh Capital Engine there teh same stats on all Cap Ship's.
Teh problem i thought of is teh higher teh tech Cap Ship u get teh more hull and better augs u can put on it yet teh more hull teh more gear and stuff meens it gets heavier maby doin Cap Engine 1, 2, 3, 4 or sumthin wid better stats for teh higher tech Cap Ship's?

Other than That i found teh Cap Ship's cool and fun :D.

Teh other thing im not sure if u said u were still workin on or not but teh Exp Aug Mission's...
I turned my FA Exp in for a Token yet can't do anythin wid teh Token.

Oh and btw equipped weapons for MF don't take up -50% space yet. I equip a merc dis and only get +3 hull

Erm those are capital ship distinction from the navy's of the world. Hardly the purview of Eve.

Beyond that I have to ask what the hell happened to cap ships... The way Cael had said they were going to work was no large boost to shield bank or energy bank, about 70ish speed, and somewhere about 750-1000 hull... Now they move slow as hell, and given the size of the universe I tend to find 70ish speed rather slow... going 48 with FF max, a Sup Combo and MS aug really, really, really sucks. The size is about what was advertised but instead we get this huge bank boost to shields and energies... What happened? Did Cael have no clue what was going on or something?

Edit:
Add in the fact that Selenlogical is loosing an Aug slot and that I was only doing about as much damage to Zebras as my Pax used to do even with two slaves. As FC I might as well stay in my pax because I am going to get another 20% rof from FF and speed and turning, etc. etc. I am going to be better off and have one more aug slot which makes a world of difference. With AT 23 that almost gives me two more effective augs then the cap ship has. I thought these things were supposed to be really good in the hands of someone that is FF.

I left before because I found 70 speed in my pax oppressively slow. Now if I aug for speed somewhat i.e. MS and Sup combo, I can just break 68% of that speed. I can't afford to build several tech 20 ships to park around the uni in key locations, espicacally not with the resent col nerf. If this is how things are going to be tell me now. Because without a drastic change to the speed of the cap ships I am gone and this time for good.
