Should Slaves have the Player's aug tweak added?
Yes, immediatly, and it should stay on 46%  46%  [ 19 ]
No they were way to broken 14%  14%  [ 6 ]
Yes, atleast until slave Tweaking is implemented 39%  39%  [ 16 ]

Post Put Aug tweak back on slaves
What slaves gain in SLave mastery bonues doesn't even make up for the retardedness of slaves.

I say that the Aug tweak of the player should affect the slaves. I believe slaves had reached a fair balance as it was. Now slaves are useless, and I can't really see any argument on why slaves SHOULDN't have Aug tweak.

Also whats the point in a Slave master/Rad-X taking part in a Emp run if his slaves doesn't get Aug tweak....

My 2 exc cap, levi+ slaves went from about 7k space down to 4.2k. Not good.

There just need to be a cohesive discussion of what slaves SHOULD be able to do. Having a players AT level affect a slave does seem very reasonable since AT is massively beneficial to hull in a merchant and damage in a Fighter class ship. Obviously it has the same effect for a DM's hull and shield tweaking, but a much lesser extent to a slave masters stats.

If you go through the classes the slave and station master main classes get the least AT effect ontheir primary skills. 2 Caly augs on a merch DF mean a huge hull bonus compunded by a huge hull bonus that is tweaked. Speed augs on a speed demon or firing augs get class bonuses compunded by AT also. I had often thoguht that station master kind of get screwed because they lost significant benefit from AT because their class stats were not ship-enhancing. I HAD thought the same of Slave masters too, but the slave/st/DM combo was always too good for basing and fighting.

Anyway, long story short I agree with GJ on the general idea because Slave masters don't get ship specific or combat specific bonuses that AT amplifies like the other classes do.

Slave mastery should just give better boosts now. Say...

+4% slave mastery
+2% drone mastery
+3% seer
+4% rad ex

Something along those lines for slave boosts.

I like the tweak to on the AUGS and not on the slaves in general. It means that your AUG setup makes more difference. Whats great about this game is the DEPTH of the augs setups you can make.
