Star Sonata License Agreement

Cheating will consist of exploitation of bugs to advance ones character, hacking or modifying the client or hacking into the server, intercepting or sending information to or from the server in any way other than standard use of the client, use of macros or any other similar abnormal activity that can cause an increase in the load on the CPU, or unauthorized use of Star Sonata administration or monitoring features. You must report any exploitable bugs to the administration as soon as you find them, and destroy any wealth or items you accidentally get through an exploitable bug. If you are found to be cheating, your account may be subject to deletion without refund, as well as the accounts of anyone whom you help as the result of the cheating.

Abusive language, harassment, advertisement (Spam), or deliberate attempts to circumvent the swear filter (e.g. typing “fu..ck� or “sh!t�) within the Star Sonata chat or forums is unacceptable. People involved in this activity will be warned or have their accounts deleted depending on the severity, blatancy, or number of violations. There is no expectation of privacy of in-game chat or messaging. Star Sonata reserves the right to monitor all communications that happen within game or on the forums. Though we will try to cut down on abuse of the chat and forums, Star Sonata can not be held responsible for any abusive, harassing, demeaning, offensive, or threatening statements made thereon.

This game, the website, the client, and the server are provided as services “as is�. Star Sonata does not warrant that the operation of these services will be interrupted or error free.

There is no guarantee that Star Sonata will continue to provide its services for any length of time. Star Sonata reserves the right to close down its servers with a 30 day notice, refunding all players the balance of any further months that they’ve paid for.

In the event of a material breach of Star Sonata’s obligations to provide access to and use of your account, the system, the game, game content, or user content, your sole and exclusive remedy shall be a refund of any paid access fees attributable to the period of wrongful denial of service, or three months’ access fees, whichever is less.

This agreement can be modified at any time by sending a message at log-in to all users and asking them the re-accept the new agreement. If you do not accept the new agreement, you will be entitled to a refund of any remaining subscription fees.

In-game items or commodities, such as “Crack Whores�, does not advocate breaking of any local laws in such jurisdictions that prohibit whoring, possession of nuclear waste, or destroying rats with large lasers.
