Post Random Damage Type Base Weaps
Base weapons that do random damage types, as in they cycle through all the damage types.

I do not mean that they do the type which would cause the most damage to their target, sometimes they would do the type which does the least damage.

Just an idea.

So they would cycle each damage type every few seconds, minutes, or shots. That would be cool, especially if the color changed depending on damage type. Rainbow cannon all the way. :wink:

Personally I like the idea of having more variety of damage types and weapon types for bases rather than a single weapon that cycles through every damage type. Could add a more strategic aspect to both bvb and defense. That is, it would in theory if high tech bases were actually killable without absolutely staggering levels of force. And there was a reason to attack them. Or some kind of actually threatening AI to attack them. Meh.

I love the idea.

Call it a Rainbow Cannon and have a bp for it drop from a Nyan Cat uber along with a Rainbow Engine and some other kewl shiz!

Those aren't a 'tweak' though are they?

Considering how stupid tractor ships are at the moment then sure keep them... It's things like adv blocker, ada shielding, last defence, PPGT, Assassinations etc...
