It's amazing because if you've seen Thor, Iron Man and Captain America you probably noticed all the connections between them: S.H.I.E.L.D., Stark's dad, the particle accelerator, Captain America's Shield, "Is that one of Stark's"-line in Thor when the Destroyer comes to earth, weapons made by Stark to fight The Incredible Hulk, the strange occurrence at the end of Iron Man 2 that is Thor's hammer falling down to earth and of course the tesseract.
Easter Eggs are fun if you know where to look for them.
