AI locater.
itsa ... sad little tool but i would expectsuch to be possible evenin pvp a sort of beacon tha allows you to shoot at a person or AI and it can track them so long as they dont dock to get rid of it. (part of repair costs)

Re: AI locater.
What exactly are you suggesting here? You can already select a target in a galaxy, wander off to another one, target something, blow stuff up, and return to still have your target selected.(try it in Nexus if you'd like. I can't find enough "galaxy locked" ai to try it on elsewhere...)
Are you suggesting something that will change the target to that one every time the ai and you are in the same galaxy, if so, how will that effect they "target memory"? (target memory being the above mentioned "still targeted effect")

Visorak wrote: So like a weapon that increases vis? It is suggesting an item that allows you to track the location of enemies through different galaxies. Probably seer only. I'm in Sol. I whack Radia with a tracking device. He goes to an unknown galaxy. I look at tracking device locater. I see Radia is in Copper. I tell Jey to kill Radia. Radia gets wingy's Lincin shoved up his.

Re: AI locater.
The only new part about it I saw was 'makes the target appear first on the q/z list'
A better idea might be that subbed player have(yeah, before I go further, I know the admins have already talked to eachother about things for p2p accounts to have) anyways, I was thinking a different radar thing.
New things on your radar would appear as a different color. You could see which asteroid just spawned where if you were the only one mining(had idea in arena lobby while mining... basicly help to figure out if certain asteroids have set spawns what ev, turns out they don't exactly). Would also have the ability to mark an ai to have a different radar color, mark planets , also temporary markers with a different category for each session so you could easily delete them but not loose them if the client crashes. Uses would be "did I scan that planet?", "I swear someone is mining here...", "okay I know that loot is from my ship", "Oh, right, I tossed that thing here, it's THIS debris", and of course "KOS".
Suggestion hijacked. Gained 98 Exp (24 more to next level)Note: Max posted, cbb to change my post

Re: AI locater.
No nO non Nononononono a Item in it self similar to a galactioc locater that has a 2 part system u shoot a weapon liek lets say a Prismatic conversion or corsairs converter w/e a Grem weapon that allows for long range low vis projectile that does 2 things. 1 if u have it hotkeyed the part to it that would give u information it allowsu to get both the position in a galaxy and what galaxy the tracking item is in. meaning the persons or AI's ship u shot it at. the read out would be liek this in event when u used it ( person or ai name ) (galaxy name) (Galactic coords in galaxy)
also while you where in the galaxy that yer tracking beacon or (subject was in) the first target If visible at all to you via yer current radar setup and galaxy sun give off would preferably be that target if possible) meaning the targeted ai or person would be tracked throught the universe via a signal until that person docked and had it removed unlike a grem or a fire they would need to pay a fund to hagve it removed it would nto be automatic)
blah enough said..

Re: AI locater.
Allow me to translate from lilith into English:
You grem Mr. Hapless, and he warps out into peri. Then you activate the grem, and event chat tells you which galaxy Mr. Hapless is in. It also tells you his (x,y) coordinates in that galaxy.
The grem stays on the ship until Mr. Hapless manually unequips it in a station.

Re: AI locater.
What Radia said. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real-time_locatingReal-time locating systems (RTLS) are a type of local positioning system that allow to track and identify the location of objects in real time. Using simple, inexpensive badges or tags attached to the objects, readers receive wireless signals from these tags to determine their locations.[1] RTLS typically refers to systems that provide passive or active (automatic) collection of location information. Like putting an ankle bracelet onto a criminal's leg. To see where the fuck he is going in the city with over 3 million people.
