I was thinking...What about a set of blueprints that require Ancient race ruin gear to build new types of ruins of advanced tech's. giving the possibility of T20-21 gear if you can collect enough stuff from the race.

example: Faranji Fusillade, T21 version of the famous faranji flower/paragon. and require a set of all the faranji energy weapons to create.

you could also design shields or energies too.
