Post Wars that make getting certain skills a pain
Ok, so I know this might not be on high priority for most people but there have been changes before in bases making it difficult to get skills.

For some skills there are alternatives such as Station Management,
*if can't get in laby, get in ruby steppes with aqua nuzzles
*if can't get in biologique make lux and enter suites for blue photon processing missions

For warp 4
* If someone owns emp bio warp 4 via the paxius missions.

Seeing a pattern here? Now those are more like extra skills I would consider they are helpful yes but not really necessary to do most of the content in game.

Core skill shielding 19
*Hyper with pearly gate, oh wait bases can be laid there
*Alternative, hmm none

Is there anything that can be done to make it so core skills aren't affected by wars just like skills like station management and warp 4

I mean, with the invinci aura you should only die a single time before getting into the Hyper base for the skill.

Just not seeing a place where a skill can be blocked.

On top of that, you don't even need GG anymore because nothing drops off your ship. Just get a high regen shield and ride the invincibility aura into wherever you want to go.

As yellow said, that's not the point, the point is yes atm repair costs very little however everyone knows that eventually the admins are going to change it, yes it is possible to do it with only dying once or twice but again that's not the point, wars should not make it even slightly more difficult than usual to get core skills as they are CORE skills. There is absolutely no alternative besides going in there.

How many other skills can you think of that there is no other alternative to get besides going into a galaxy that may potentially have a base of a team that's at war with you? I can think of very few sh19, station research 5, station tweaking 17-18, research and tweaking are cool yeah but not all that necessary, how many level 1k+s or even 2k+s would go without sh19 to get shielding up to 20-21? yeah I doubt many would say they would.

If the admins fixed the tier system, it would be very much possible to go without shielding 19 as a level 2000.

Just simply getting a tier five or so T18 shield would fix the matters. As for bases, achilles Z hurts quite a bit. I don't know what you'd do for ada modules, seeing how the factories are T20, but if they got off their lazy butts and beefed what needs to be beefed, a lot of players would never need T20 skills, and reach level 3000 no sweat.

Then kick the crap out of a T21 ship like a prawn.

If the gear took the same or greater effort, no, I'm not.

Take...a Kikale Mzungu Super Rumble. T17.

Stats like 35k bank, 600-750 elect, +20% range, -8% elect temp, +13% tracking, runs on enukes.

To get to it, you must upgrade a Mz Rumble to a Super Rumble, to a Kikale Super Rumble.

A Super Rumble would want a Rumble, some Mz Bolts, a Mz Thunder, and a Superconducting Plasma Conduit, plus 5b.

A Kikale Super would want a Super Rumble, a Mz Strike, a Mz Giga Pellet Stream, a Kikale Mzungu Ka Ko, a Range Crystallizer, and a Quantumum Tracker, plus 5b.

Then a Neurobound version called an Ultra Kikale Super Rumble, even better than the KSM, would want a KSM, another Mz Rumble, a Kikale Mz Outburst, 2 Rubicite Lattices, a Vis Vision Suite, and 1k Titanium Sheets, plus 5b.

In the end, it is still Tech18.

Sooooo, players are supposed to have SM 20 to make T21 modules, and yet only EE 18? By the way, the stats you propose are better than any comparable Olympus energy of any tier.

The stats you just suggested are better than a primal lion heart... and the best Olympus neurobound energy for that matter. You're suggesting that we remove the logical progression of a player based on his 'skills' (used in almost every game everywhere) and replace it with who can build the most expensive POS? The point of leveling up to begin with is so a player has enough SP for t20 and such.

Also this suggestion is about the potential blockading of skills, which has nothing to do with t20.
