I don't understand how a few team's score is 100 and the rest are 0 or 1.

Are they buying and selling at the same AI base over and over?

two battle thatch slaves on MFM 5 heph augs, buying selling over and over to the same player station so they dont even have to move.

they just dock and undock, buy and sell.

Has nothing to do with the original intent of the score. just take it out.

But it should be on value on a estimated trade price valued by the devs or a "median" price

well, two things.

First off, I never said we dont do it to, as we have to to get any trading score at all.

secondly, those particular slaves are actually moving legitimate goods around, however you could go to several other gals which are doing it.

So you kinda fail on both points...good try though..

believe it or not my little SBP friends, this wasnt directed at you. You guys are like the fox news of this game. everyone and everything is against you...get over yourself as recognize that the mechanic is now broken after battle thatch slaves were added to the game. its as simple as that, not an attack on SBP.

No offence, but I have better things to do than to call you out on random things.

Don't think that was my suggestion, but it could have been. There's lots of alternative ways, such as measuring profit from goods sold to colonies, or AI base trading. Only problem with AI base trading is that if one team has lots of ai bases in their gals and other teams don't due to the random nature of uni generation, it could be rather unfair. Also, AI base trades cap at un-naturally low levels for most goods. I can only sell about 4k prom to an AI base for example, so even though I might be able to produce TONS more, I only get that same trickle of points as the next guy.

I think having a diversified scoring system is a good thing but at the same time, if it ultimately boils down to who is willing to commit more mfm thatches to upping the score, that's hardly a real measurement of team ability. If it were up to me though we'd use a completely different competitive system like what I think Bigee proposed, where special pvp and bvb galaxies are introduced, and real, team vs team competition determines who gets emp.
