Normally against these kinds of posts but I have noticed RP has pretty bad drop rates compared to how large the actual loot table is for RP specific gear.

It is a 7 days lockout. Let's count the amount of Red Photon Ships.

We have 2 Red Photon Logistics Cruisers in SBP, and 1 Red Photon Support Cruiser.

EF have/had one Red Photon Carrier and one Red Photon Logistics Cruiser.

I recently sold a Red Photon Carrier Blueprint.

Are there any other than this, at all? The drop rate is about 1/15 if I go by the runs I have done, and count the blueprint drops I have had. And this is for a one time use blueprint, for a 7 days lockout uber.

The droprate is at 10%, which I think is fine. The unfinished blueprint is a mission item, which means it only drops if you have the mission. Maybe that's simply not obvious enough

10% sounds fine on paper, but when you've got a 7 day lockout. That's over 2 months for 1 bp, which definitely is not fine.

Camsy... You don't understand that many people do RP so it's more like 1 bp per day. I do every lockout three times myself.

What I'm inclined to think is that the admins want to make Capital Ships a special kind of ship that people rarely get yet are very good.

JeffL has already stated this is many of my suggestions to bring the Capital Ship to the general public, instead of doing a stupid research bp. Like, install bp, add items, build ship. Not, install research, do research, do more research, do more research, finally get EFBC bp.

To me, Red Photon is like a generic chunk of Capital Ship content. I don't know if the rewards were supposed to be the best, but if it's anything like the EFDN, it has to be an entry level content.

So wheres the higher levels(don't say ZT)? Oh, theres none like with the EFDN? Radical.

The drop rate would be fine if there were other options for Fleet Commanders and Gunners than having to use a Zeus Throne if they couldn't get a Red Photon Unfinished Blueprint. As it has been pointed out, the Red Photon line of ships is amazing, and there has only been 2 Red Photon Carriers built so far in this game, and not a single Red Photon Warship (as far as I know).

Like Thermal said, and if there was 1 bp a day, we'd be seeing a lot more RP ships. And yes Thermal, I've searched for people who might own RP warships (so I could find out stats, build cost etc) I've found no one with one yet.
