Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
Just having the ability to connect my outermost team-owned galaxy to my team space's HQ would be worth quite a lot to me in terms of convenience. Probably something in the 50-100b range, I don't think I'd be willing to do much more for a 1 uni long investment.

jeff I would spend all my money on t21 gear if only it was buyable in the market...so I stack my cash until it is. Make the market more efficient, let the cash flow down the tree, not out of the system.

Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
Ooh, custom juxtas, essentially... I like it. No idea how hard it would be to implement, and my guess would be that with the way it works now it would have to be done manually and possibly only during downtime. Setting it up to be done automagically by the use of some item would probably be farther towards the difficult end of things.
And Jeff, I actually liked your answer to my question, which surprised me. Which leads me to address the clogs in the drain rather than thoughts on adding another drain: Perhaps one of the clogs in the drain is the way that credit expenditure has been so tied up with commodity expenditure, while the incomes of those two have been rather disproportionate to their expenditure. Another clog is the one-time use BP philosophy -> there simply aren't enough of the BPs we want to build available to spend our credits on. If there was a version of the HM bp that cost 10x more in credits but had 5 uses on it, for example, its would be used.

Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
I actually thought of custom juxta's before I saw the comment about it. It may have been suggested before (infact I'd be suprised if it hasen't) but a way to make new planets in a galaxy? Or possibly blueprints that add particular commods to a planet, i.e. rubi, but make it cost way more than you would gain from it so that the only reason for paying for it is so you can get that specific commod.
Another idea, along the same lines. Custom galaxies, if people are willing to modify their ships, give them the ability to modify their gals, including name, location, no of planets and commods. With the price skyrocketing the more you add to the gal.
Or hidden galaxies, basically a juxta route that only you can enter.

Also higher levels in slave research and drone research would be something worth a significant amount of creds. 5 more levels 20bil per?

I would like unlimited astral travel. Or perhaps cheaper zen skills replacing SP with cash.

you want more than 100 jumps with astral travel...?
custom juxtas sounds cool... also multiple use bp's. credit sinks is dumb it needs to go into the market as someone said

They are a necessary evil, and I think the next step is customization. Whether it's being able to create and destroy planets in a galaxy, or infinite zen-type skills, people will always pay a premium for heavy customization.

Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
I'm all for imperial tweaking and bar skills. Also, I do think I would love to see multi-use bps instead of single-use bps. I think a build limit of 3-5 is more sensible than just one. The problem for me is that I simply don't like buying things and would spend far more money if I had bps I could use more than once.

Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
Another thing I would pay massive amounts of credits for is the ability to un-neuro bound items that were made neuro bound through missions. Like Olympus neuro bound gear. Yeah, my sniper has a Voluminous Jupiter Olympios Shield.

Re: Question: What would you pay massive amounts of credits for?
I had made a suggestion as my emp item to make a Warp gate, so to speak that would work from your Hq to your outpost. Essentially you could put your outpost anywhere and warp to it from your HQ cutting down on travel time.
In my mind there were two blueprints, one for each base. Quite expensive...tons of every commod, and so on. To prevent abuse there would be a 24 hour timer on un-equipping and then re-equipping, (kinda like how factories only work every X time).
Thought most high end teams would build this, and it cost a ton. (300-500bil per piece). But as usual, the idea went no where.
