Post Hybrid Low Vis Engine
The idea is to have improved engines that consume elec and generally give less visibility.

8k Thrust
3k Turning
10vis
"enter balanced amount of elec use per thrust here"
Light fighter only

I used a Vmotor for a long time as a sniper. Didn't bother me for pvping or pveing.

As for the elect engine, just have it +X stats for -Y% Elect, if you have that much elect.

I'd rather die then use that engine on a sniper.

I don't think it's currently possible to code in elec use only during thrust.

Im 1000% sure that at one point, some engines DID have elec costs... i dont know why it was removed

I don't remember engines ever using elec... that would be quite retarded, why not just make a high tech engine thats low vis that is an upgrade from the lower tech engines that are low vis. I'm sure hermes engine is low vis

I will be dissapointed if hermes dosent have a built-in engine that has 0-10 vis with comparable stats to a t21 ares engine

Wasn't Hermes supposed to be an Uber like Ares or Zeus, just not used for skills, to specifically shut up whiny seers?

To me, Hermes is NOT some special "Ultimate" Olympus Uber. I'm pretty sure this is also what the devs thought.

I wouldn't really go so far as to ascribe agency to the devs. :P
