Post Re: Seer Guide
The wrong part was the absolute failure of the posts you've made so far. Most especially the reasonings behind the +crit chance being useless.

Post Re: Seer Guide
I never said they were useless. I said, if you have over 100% while visible and after you subtract crit resists from a prawn or capship, you wasted effort attaining the chance.

Say you are poking a dread, which has 30%. You are invisible, so the 60% from skills is there. You have 3 AoS in your setup, as well as the T15 OL. You have 160% crit chance.

That 60% just sits there. The FC, ShM, Engineer, or Gunner isn't going to be able to see you in the first place, so why did you want 60% more than the max you need? It's like a SD that augs and have a totaling bonus of speed for "attaining" 1400 speed, even though he is still capped at 700. That SD, like any Seer who uses the third AoS for CRIT CHANCE, is stupid.

If he used it for the damage, thats fine. If he used it for stealth(and without any DS's running around wanting scraps), thats fine too. If he used it for less radar than Mast, thats fine too.

But, CRIT CHANCE. You waste the aug if you're specifically trying to keep above the crit chance cap AFTER all the reductions in crit percentage from being visible or facing a prawn/capship.

Still is a waste, though. CaP, Ath+, 2 AoS works wonderfully for ROF setups in pve. No need to make yourself even more squishy and prone to dying to an AI as when you start firing, you become as visible as a sore thumb.

Post Re: Seer Guide
the point i was trying to make, was that 3aos is better than 2 aos mast.

Not that 3 aos is the best setup choice ever, lol.

imo, the +30% dmg, and +30% crit strength is the only reason why i would use that third aos. But there are other augs, like conc, or dark gob, etc that would work in your favor giving you more sheilds.

RoF in a pvp seer is a horrible idea, dph allows you to kill weakened enemies in one shot. I use a OS5, rather than that t15 one.

Post Re: Seer Guide
Now for Basta's say.

3 AoS, A+ is horrid. You only get sheild bonus from the A+, which isn't enough. But, 2 AoS,Conc,A+, THATs a nice dph/general use setup. Lots of sheild, lots of tracking for those pesky weps like PWAG, tempering to power tons of shit for longer periods of time. Why is this setup better? Because its not always about dps/dph!!!! The difference between 10k sheilds and 20k+shields is worth 4k less of a hit orso. Also, this setup allows you to use ANY weapon you wish, given that its 100% crit chance even when visible. But, there is a better setup for dps.

A great dps setup is 2 AoS, Conc, CaP. Why Conc instead of A+? Because you dont get 100% crit hit chance, tempering to power weps like lincin [a must], you won't have the tankiness of a sack of rice, and you will have 100% tracking with weapons like a rop and such. 100% tracking can be very useful in a fight, just saying.

Also, with 2 AoS augs, your +damage% is plenty, you should worry more about rof if your going for a dps setup.

I should make a guide myself soon.

1. RoP has 100% tracking unless you're using retarded -tracking augs
2. ...
(I would finish the list of shit to point out, but right now i can't be arsed)

I call bullshit. It was paxx's idea for 3 AoS A+, I was ranting on how bad it would be.

FFSV!!!!SGFDS!! Idc!!! Tracking for shit like......err......lion quick snap!!!! Dark fists!!!

The main argument was that PWAG has horrid tracking, the rest adds to it.

LTP!!!!

You're bad if you can't hit with PWAG, unless you augged your panther 4 hibernation augs or something.

Show me a Seer that can power a Lion Incinerator, because I don't think you are aware of what you are writing.

You know what I mean :| having the ability to shoot 40% more or such is great, I understand that there are different ratios more than just 40% elec tempering including AT. Like, 40% of low dpe weapon won't be as effective.

^If that dosen't make sense, I promise to cut back on the weed.

You need to understand that powering means you can constantly shoot your weapon at your rate of fire without loosing any energy bank. What you are trying to explain is that you need electrical tempering because then you can fire off more shots before you run empty on energy.
