but the longer those trends continue, the more likely it becomes that someone will use all the avaliable scientific knowledge to make themselves a player in geopolitics

i am talking about the rise of the "mad scientists" as the power players in geopolitics

it is almost like the TV show heroes. a bunch of random people all over the world gain godlike powers. except in this situation, the "godlike powers" can be shared with others because it will be a result of technology.

scientific understanding will become the primary "virus of the mind" by being truly symbiotic with its hosts, raising them above those who lack scientific understanding, and creating a strong preference among hosts towards other hosts of "scientific understanding"

in other words, when knowledge is everything, you either learn, or you die. stupidity and ignorance become lethal afflictions. (though it could be argued that they already are to a lesser extent)
