Skyrim
A new video came out, with a bunch of theoretical projects they messed around with in the week after skyrim was released. I could only dream of HALF of these things actually making it into the game xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYOFLqItuW4

Re: Skyrim
The creating kit was released recently, so in the coming months look for some serious mods coming out.

Re: Skyrim
I can't wait to fly dragons and run from giant crabs! I wish that they made a mod for that kinect shout thingy but for the PC, would be epic.

They'll never come out. All they did was prepare 5 seconds of animation per mod. Most of them were in their infancy I'd imagine.

Who knows maybe someone will dedicate time to make a mod like that! Don't ruin my hopes D:

Re: Skyrim
I can almost guarantee you the modding community will make a dragonriding mod within 4 months.

Re: Skyrim
Yeah. I mean, they made one for oblivion, and oblivion didn't even have dragons in the first place >.>
With Skyrim the entire framework is already in place; they have the mounting animations, and the dragons already exist. The fact that they were able to mock something together in under a week at bethesda suggests that it's extremely possible.
But honestly, things like that are secondary to me compared to the amazingly immersive features like trees moving when large objects hit them, water actually flowing correctly, and seasonal foliage. I would pay serious dinero for those alone.

Re: Skyrim
When the giant moved that tree, I was like HOLY SHIT. And the water just looked ridiculous...
