The "U" command need to be modified to only SUICIDE if the player had no equipped Escape Pod.

If there is an equipped Escape Pod the ship takes no damage and nothing is lost.

And the question asked should be: Exit Ship? YES/NO

This change is utterly pointless. The current system is much better than what you propose.

1. Some places do not allow ships with engines, hencee flying in with either a pod or a spirit. A pod is faster in such a situation.
2. Is pressing U, typing yes then pressing OK not good enough?

He's suggesting that if u suicide with equipped pod, your ship's shield will stay as they were (instead of going to 0 without any reason), items wont lose durability and ship would be in yellow statis asap.

Makes sense that you dont destroy ur entire ship just because you want to eject in pod.

/signed on one condition, to make it unabusable in PvP make it so that you cant suicide if you have been attacked recently.

By suiciding to pod, you avoid glory loss, and before, you didn't drop a GG.

Then rapidly suiciding the pod, you became a spirit with no money loss.

Was very abusable. Needs some way to prevent such problem.
