 Tossing items.Every time I toss an item the screen turns gray and asks me if I want to really toss that space oat.

Re: Tossing items. Well, not saying I like it, but the theory is that the gray is to let you know you're dealing with a modal dialog and you can't click on anything else.

Re: Tossing items. This was the most annoying thing about Vista and Windows 7 UAC. I disabled the dimming focus stealing function the moment I logged in, now it only prompts without blacking out the rest of my desktop.

Re: Tossing items. It shouldn't steal focus. Ever. This is exactly why team invites were so annoying in C1. I was under the impression you were fixing this problem, not adding to it.
And for tossing useless commods too. If it were t20 gear and t3 commods maybe it wouldn't be so bad, but in my SD I sometimes need to toss basil rages, LC remains, space oats, and blue whatevers to make room for loot, and I need to do it fast. _________________ Jey123456 wrote: That will happen in a future closer than most futures. Re: Tossing items. How about you make it so you can't toss equipped items, and then get rid of the dialog completely? We didn't get a dialog in C1 and no one complained about that. This way, there'll also be a barrier to tossing your equipped radar or scoop accidentally (the latter of which is a pretty terrible thing to happen).

Re: Tossing items. Ideally, you could set different parameters for each item type, and tech level.
Like always ask to toss a scoop, but toss any shields under tech 15 with no prompt, etc. But even then, the prompt should not steal focus. It should be visible but out of the way. I have been many times DGing and having to toss extra stuff and accidentally tossing my scoop. I nearly lost my mind as i watched the loot fade off. |

Re: Tossing items. Sounds like a very good idea. I am also all in for the suggestion that many players have supported: Make it possible to "lock" items to your ship, so they aren't affected by transfer all/tossing. So you can lock it to your ship forever, like important tweaks, fuel, and more.
