If you get a crash in Star Sonata 2, please email your dump file to dmpfile@starsonata.com and include a brief description of what you were doing when it crashed, and we will fix it.

I cant emphasise enough how important those dump files are for server hamster to fix all those niggling little compatability issue related failures, those that are almost impossible to cater for on an 'initial-write' for any software - thats why the guys need those dumps and explanations, they dont have 100 different types of machines to test on, We (the player base) DO! heheh!

I get a crash dump just trieng to launch the game and sent in the dump file.....got no reply on it or any thing....tried running as admin but wont let mealso tried fresh installs..... any ideas??

Send your computer specifications here along with the attached dump file via this email address. dmpfile@starsonata.com

Include Specs:

Operating System eg windows 7 32bit
Amount of RAM
Graphics (If known)

Then include a explanation were this happens such as a click of a button that triggers it or a event.

Then attach your dump file to the email.

Then sit back and relax until you get a response.

I'm not sure. We don't officially support wine, but you could send anyway. Please mention that you're using wine, though, so we can know.

Are you using XP? if so there is a problem that they tell me they are working on.

Ya, me too, I am having problem with SS2 on windows xp, send my dump files 2 days ago. Hopefully, they can fix it before the uni reset.

Can't even log on now. It just keep crashing my computer. =(

Lol, also XP, also crashing. But you can forget about dump files, i dont get dump files when my computer crashes.
