Gigantic Tortoise
Stats: Like an Os tortoise, t18, 4 augs.
Description: George looks frisky
Build cost: OS tortoise, maybe some new uber commod? If not make OS tortoise roamers drop the commods. BP drops from wherever. Pos perhaps? If it drops in pos make it require 2 pos modules and some other stuff too.
Requires piloting 21.
Edit: It seems that locking something of a certain tech with a different skill level isn't possible. If this is not going to be fixed in the near future perhaps make this require a skill chain obtained after FC 21.

If the admins want to keep RC at 18 slaves are limited to tech 18.
If they're going to have buff stats they should be locked to people with p21.

So... insted of making RC 20 so u can use T20 ships whitout stasis gens, u want to add T18 ships whit stats of T20-21 ships for slaves but make them require P21 so only endgame ppl can use the T18 ships that they have no chance of losing and whit T20-21 stats?

Actually the t21 users who do Olympus have a % chance to lose all their slaves if the server crashes. I say yes.

Locking t18 slaves to t21 skills would be a good idea to create FC oriented end game items, but P21 might not be the best skill, limiting it to FC21 would be a better option to me.

Yet you're complaining about this? T20 slaves without stasis gens would merely fuck the t20 ship market. Nobody would risk losing 100b in slaves unless they're stupid. There's a good reason for why slaves get two CG rolls.

Everyone and their mother has like 50+ EFDN's in storage. imagine having two of those, with monster bank, probs wouldn't die very often, even if they did, just use throwaway gear and you'll be hooting.

If you want to give people more RC slots you can simply increase slave research.
Having an emp behe/DF trade slave would be quite broken. They are cheap ships and easily 2X better than leviathans. I've also computed the raw dps (etc) of a fair few t20 setups and they aren't really better than 4 t18 or lower augmenters.
Now consider the fact that slaves are stupid... and are even more likely to die than normal players.
So effectively it's like making people pay for RadX slaves. Either they're overpowered or useless.
