I think this is because there are 2 versions. One called Zebra Hooves Torpedo (AI version) and one called Zebra Hooves Torpedoe (Player version). Correct me if I am wrong tho.

They could always switch the names around :p

Yes, there's a thread for spelling errors here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=30973&start=255

However, items are identified by their name, so if I changed the spelling, everyone would loose their current ZHTs.

But in future, please post any spelling mistakes in the Speeling Error thread, it was moved to Development Notes if you can't find it (like I couldn't... Looking in Misc. >_<)

As people said before, admins made seperate versions of UZ weapons for players to have, so they could adjust the power level of AI as needed. Though why they didn't give the one with the funny spelling to the AI, I have no idea.

Ask VP Dan Quail what he thought about misspelling a word in front of an assembly of grade schoolers. After his speech the floor was opened up for children to ask questions. One third grader asked him how he spells TOMATO, to which he answered "T-O-M-A-T-O-E" and LOST the Presidential election.

In a game like SS we have children playing who NEED to know that what they are reading is correct. Misspelling words is not how SS wants to represent itself to the world. Where the items are unique and are using made up words there is no problem... BUT when the item exists in the real world it need to be spelled correctly.

as for fixing the problem... do it during a uni reset with a database correction.

This is the same person who cried and wailed and slandered Voomy on another site when Concussions were added.

Do you have any idea how long that'll take, how many there would be to do (because there are more than one item like this). and the chances of it messing up?

I can remake the item, edit the drop table so the wrongly spelled ones slowly fade away as people AI base them, die without GG, or just toss them overboard.
