Post Base Building ships
First off, im not including Thatches in this post as they can be used by all classes equally as well and not including Sing Sphere's either because they are out of most peoples reach. Not only this, but this is mainly focused on haulers with an engine.

Now, i believe the recon focus and combat focus classes should receive their own base building ship just like how fleet focus has the MIII and support focus has the DF.

It is not such a problem to me as i own all classes, but this is quite a big issue for those who say..only have a SD. It is quite unfair that they are not able to haul gear like the rest of us simply because they are the wrong class.

What i propose are two new ships.
A HF hauler which will have around 30-35k hull once augs are equipped for Snipers and Zerkers.
A LF hauler locked to Seer which will again give 30-35k hull.
A LF hauler locked to SD which has drastically decreased speed compared to the other two, but will again give 30-35k hull.

I would rather see the SD hauler to be given less speed then a reduction in hull as that would mean they wouldnt fit the larger pieces.

No! Some classes are better at some things than others.

It's like saying we should give SD's an energy transference because some people only have one char and they're in the wrong class to support others.

Also, DF isn't a support focus thing. Ass Behe is.

Energy transference is not something a SD should do. Base building is something everyone should do. Your example is crap :)

This is one of those thing's where if implemented, noone gets an advantage in pvp/bvb/pvai over anyone else. It is simply a time saver and will remove alot of headaches for those of us not fortunate enough to own every single class.

Do people even think before they post? Did you perhaps only read the highlighted sentence then decide to type the first thing that came out of your anus? How does implementing SHIPS have anything to do with tweaking for STATIONS.

This is starting to move onto how some classes gain bonuses over others in pvb/pvp/pvai, ie SD's are the fastest. This however, is not the point of this thread.

I agree with the suggestion. The only people who will really be benefitted are those who don't have multiple developed alts, and are therefore most likely not endgame. Even then, it'll just make base building a bit less of a headache for those who haven't yet made a class with nice hull bonuses or a ship like Massif III.

Imo, all base building ships should be their own hull class. That way, no skill affects them, and therefore, everyone has the same ship.

Boohoo you want to spend 50b on a ship for your engineer. It's going to have the same stats as a 50b version on a SD teammate.

Tell you what's a better idea. Make item containers!

Where we can plonk everything into one storage item and custom name it like "Achillies Complete Set". Which can be packed together and unpacked.

Now that's a idea!

Would need some tweaking of the class skills (some say X% <stat> for other ship types) but this idea seems effin' awesome, industrial class anyone!? xD

You could give them all 0 aug slots, inbuilt bonuses to thrust/turning/shield bank, 0 weapon slots, a lower max speed (70ish?), etc! Basically making it useless for combat situations!

It would be awesome to have a viable ship to put Anni. Thrusters on! xD

Anyway, all classes can build bases. Engineer is definately the best at it but most classes can use their strenghts to be ok at it.

Support Focus
Engi: Most hull for freighters
Shm: Good hull for freighters

Fleet Focus
FC: M3 and capital ship travel fields. Good class for BT.
Gunner: M3 and capital ship travel fields. Good class for BT.

Recon Focus
SD: Fast and agile DF.
Seer: Pretty agile DF. Seer Rift Generator is a cheapskate sing brake.

Combat Focus
Zerker: Best slaves because of zerker travel fields.
Sniper: -

I can't come up with anything for sniper but that class is the best at PvAI content so I think it's just fair.

DISAGREE!!

Engineer is the best class ingame, plain and simple, followed by monkey, Zerker, then sniper.

Whilst SD/Seer have fast and agile DF's, they will be hard pressed to fit a single piece of annihilator gear.
