Multi Client Windows 7
Hello, I cannt multiclient on windows 7 and my FPS is always around 30-35. My pc is quite ok and can run most games such as Mass Effect 2 and Starcraft 2.
Whenver I try to open a 2nd star sonata the other one "freezes" and goes black it looks like everythings black but the invenotry and some other "space" on the left side is white. Thats where I have to shut down the game and cant play in multiple clients.
On windows XP I could do a lot of clients (5 or so) but on windows 7 I cant.
I am running it in admin mode.
EDIT: Im running SS as admin and when I dont I can multiclient.
Shgould I keep using admin mode or its not important?

Re: Multi Client Windows 7
Did you try to make it 32 bit instead of 16 bit? Just change it on the launcher

Running as admin is not necessary... Update your graphics drivers, and run windows update. Try messing with the SS settings, 32bit color for example.

When running as Admin the DIMMING feature of UAC blacks out the client. Go into your UAC settings and move it down 1 setting so it doesn't dim the desktop when prompting for permission.

The only functional aspect about it is preventing local malware from doing shit without permission. But now even some malware targets UAC directly, so it's basically a counterproductive preventative.

Besides the point. UAC can be left on and the dim function disabled to allow you to play on SS with 2 clients. This isn't as easy on vista but it can be removed too.
