The rollback and compensation for it
Im sorry to say that we where unable to fix the 24 hour rollback that happened. None of the more recent saves worked. So we will simply have to live with the 24 hour rollback.
As compensation for this we have decided to increase the mod drop rate by 3 times for the rest of this week. Meaning that you will have 3 times higher chance then normal to get a mod on items.
Jey has created a script which will check all future saves to make sure they are valid so we will instantly be alerted if a save for some reason isnt working. That way we can hopefully avoid anymore issues like this.

Re: The rollback and compensation for it
Dont agree with flooding the game with modded items. Surely a 1 day subscription extension would be more appropriate.

1 day subscription doesnt work because of Paypal. They will charge you the same no matter what we do on our side.

Just posting this here too. I personally don't mind having extra mods, but its still unfair to lower levels: Golfman560 wrote: The thing that I see about giving more mods would be that its only useful for the higher level chars. They'll be able to get amazing mods on endgame gear that they'll probably never leave until new content comes out. Whereas lower level players will be getting items with decent mods that they'll grow out of in a few hundred levels.
The compensation has to be something that works for everyone, not just the guys doing ubers and UZ.

Re: The rollback and compensation for it
While I like the idea of an increased mod chance... we've been dealing with huge lag and multiple rb's for a week. How about adding all the special holiday items to the drop tables for a week?

The compensation has to be something that works for everyone, not just the guys doing ubers and UZ. Its unfair simply because they exist...nothing can be done about it. they should level up and work hard to get the goodies. stuff will be sold on the market i am sure. plus even end game players can use only so many modded items. the market will be full for a bit to come i expect.

Re: The rollback and compensation for it
It's funny that people are willing to argue over something this silly instead of just admit that both of you can be right. I know it's never fun admitting your opponent is right, but on the plus side, you get to be right too!
