Content Update - 12.30.09
Just a few quick notes now that I'm back from my 'holiday mini-vacation." First.
I distributed the contest rewards today. In doing so I noticed the Astro-Grinch Sleigh didn't look like an Astro-Grinch Sleigh at all. Instead they looked like Zebucarts. I tracked down the issue (a typo in one of our files) and fixed it. On the next patch, all players that received one of these rewards will find them looking as they are meant to. That is to say, NOT like Zebucarts. Second. I started working on one of the major boss encounters in UZ2.0 over my vacation so I thought you might like a mini-preview of the dreaded UrQa Kasaa Qa'ik. Lore- The UrQa Kasaa Qa'ik is the most powerful and most feared of the UrQa. This alien Mothership holds within it the remains of the Paxian's homeworld; for at it's core is the planet of their birth, now encased by the superstructure of a giant battlesphere. Overview- Fighting the UrQa Kasaa Qa'ik will be no easy task. Such a valuable target is no doubt heavily defended. Such a target also has the ability to create portals to other UrQa fleets anywhere in the Multiverse. As players wear down the UrQa Kasaa Qa'ik, they can expect a quickly increasing horde of defenders growing stronger with every damaging blow to her. But even without other UrQa to aid her, the UrQa Kasaa Qa'ik is a formidable foe. This will be the ultimate encounter in the new zone. (Yep, despite delays, I actually DO work on this still ) Caelestis

So there will be a, more or less, infinite supply of reinforcements for the new boss? Damn, you weren't kidding about this being hard. I'm looking forward to it .

My favorite part, nice story... I can kind of envision a little UrQa UZ in my mind now. One request, pleaaaase make items easier to remember... When I go on bana runs currently the only reason I know what was dropped is because I scoop it and look , if I only read the name I would be thoroughly confused.

I don't think one of the important things that effected the Urqa's decision in naming their weapons was how easy it was for other species to understand and remember the names.
Sounds great, anyways

Seeing how this UZ has 9 bosses, I don't think "little" is a good adjective. "Huge" is far better.

Mini rhino, panther, zebra, lion, big lion, rhino, panther, zebra, Mr. Corrupted Guardian, Emperor...
I'm counting 10. If we're countin' the minis as bosses.

Re: Content Update - 12.30.09
If im not mistaken, Battlecruiser23 was speaking of the UZ this post is about, not the one we currently have.

LethalLoki wrote: If im not mistaken, Battlecruiser23 was speaking of the UZ this post is about, not the one we currently have. Yeah, and Trev was asking what that was relative to, I think.. Well, I am, anyway. Its technically still smaller than our current UZ if we're countin' the mini-bosses as bosses. Not that size matters.. should be fun the way Cael's planning it.
