Re: my brand new team OK, even though you're new, you have to understand some things. You don't want to ask to people to join out of the blue. This opens your team for potential scammers, thieves and saboteurs, which can tarnish your reputation so as a leader, no one will want to join your team.
Now that we've covered that, you have to tell in your topic(the first post)what makes your team/organization so good. It has to be actual facts about it, not "because I said it's good" stuff. If there is any role playing involved, include that into your introduction.
Are there any rules for your team? If not, then members will go wily nilly and potentially get your team into all sorts of trouble.
Also, do NOT advertise your any of your corporate assets are.
