Hey Folks,

There is a few things that will interest you.

First off, with Trevor50's help, we've been maintaining a page containing what we hope there will be in the next patch. This page can be found at http://wiki.starsonata.com/index.php/Next_Patch.

Another thing that was talked about during the dev meeting and the dev-player meeting was the uber's lockout and spawn rates. Here is what was decided:
* Should DG ubers all be in Perilous space?
o Ubers will remain spread out as they are (some will be able to be blockaded as is the case this uni)
* Should we remove/reduce spawn times on all ubers with lockout?
o Uber spawns will be 30 minutes max.

This should happen relatively soon (doesn't require a patch, though we may need to patch some fixes to the lockout before changing the spawn).

There is also good news: Jeff is now working on the next C2 preview video. Hopefully he can release it this week.

There is going to be a ton of changes to C2's UI coming in very soon, and we hope to be able to show those off soon as well.

Campaign for class equality!!

Personally I want to see class equality before we get a new Uber Zone. Engineers will be flying into the new Uber Zone in a Serengeti ship using a mix of Serengeti drones and drones made from Serengeti drones.
Capital ship users on the other hand are unlikely to be using more than one or two Serengeti or Iq'Bana items. None of our gear comes from the top tier of game content.

Give us class missions with class rewards before you give us the new UZ. It is just completely wrong for one class to have so much more to it than any other.

Class equality ftw.

It'd also be nice if classes such as Engineer didn't have to get ALL their gear from UZ. Why can't we have high-end built drones which don't require access to the uber-zone? They'd be more expensive, of course.

Equal mix of UZ and non-UZ items and such for all classes! Yay!

With 30 min timers, I assume people get kicked out after a time. is it right before spawn? Or like 15 mins or so. Anythign under 10 mins is a bit short.. Need time to be realxed in looting imo.

Fix teh borked drones first! How would snipers like it if the titan pulse gun was 4x as good as the pulsius sharpshooter, at 1/50th the cost?

I would make a recommendation that if the Game is "Too Easy" ask for more content due to the fact that levels nearing or at 3k were not planned out in the game. Only recently have a larger number of players found themselves with the SP to get any skills they need and kill all except for a couple of Ubers solo. In my experience in playing SS at this point I have found it challenging at times and easy at others, for me there are still a few challenges in the game and when i find a point that I am bored and things are just that easy... I will beg for higher end content, ask for more challenges as opposed to asking that the game I played to get to that level be made even harder for those who have not played as long or as much as I. I know that I have worked for every level I have and learned alot by trying things and learning in many cases some expensive and hard lessons. I have found it a great deal of entertainment to take time to level alts and try things I have not done in SS yet. I can't say I know what it is like to be level 2k or to be bored / feeling it's too easy to play but I know that at that point I would either quit or try to get more for me to do placed in the game... maybe at that point I would look into what I could do in possibly joining the staff and helping to make the game better for others.
