tobal 'as a legend' may of been a good player...the 'here and now' tobal is a mere average player like the rest of us, he is no god, no immortal...

There are lots of far superior players nowadays... Back in them days, weps 20 was an honour and a privelidge(sp) to have...not any random Nathanialoob could get weps 20...you were considered very lucky to have more then 2 alts with weps 20...same goes for all the Tier 20 skills, and also RC 17 and 18...

SS has never been so easy...from making money, to getting skills.

I know this contradicts my previous post about how much work devs put into this game, but really, Star Sonata 4 or 5 years ago was really cool. Not so much anymore.

yeah, I remember ss when I first joined as a lil f2p, shitloads of content, most of the player base thats now flying around in uz ships were f2p or hadnt started playing, those were beasty days.

Now all that ties me to this game is the friends I have made.

Indeed. Unfortunately it seems we are to be sacrificed for a whole lot of new subscribers instead.. I guess getting 1000 new subs and losing 500 oldies is an acceptable loss for our friendly service provider.
Then again I can understand what Jeff is doing, he wants the game to grow, he wants to improve the whole package and I'm sure newer players appreciate the changes he's made because they haven't been around to get to know and love the old game from 3 or more years ago.
The game has lost alot of its charm and fun from back then for me also, but still not enough to make me quit! (yet..) well, not unless something happens that gives me a good reason to anyway ^^
would be fun to go back a few years and play like it was back then.. flying around in an izer with executionners catapult and be totally awesome

When I played BB wasn't that bad. Infact, I believe I remember helping him when he was a wee little nublet around my level. I gave him one of my Tag Torpedoes too (Now uber uber rare)...
