Pre-paid credit cards
Have you paid for Star Sonata using a pre-paid credit card? If so, what kind was it and where did you get it?

Re: Pre-paid credit cards
I pay with something similar. My bank has a virtual credit card service for creating visa cards. You can specify the amount of currency it has and it's linked with my deposit account. It's valid for 2 months and has limited personal information for security purposes.

Re: Pre-paid credit cards
Here is what you do, i have done this for months.
1. Go buy the Visa Prepaid Gift Credit Card 1-2 days BEFORE you intend to subscribe, this will keep you from having any hangups.
2. Goto any local Wal Greens, Wal Mart, KMart, RiteAid, CVS. They should have em.
3. They come in 3 Flavors for your Addiction needs: $25 - (Which costs $28.95 approx.) , $50 (Which costs $54.95 approx.) , $100 (Which costs $105.95 approx.)
Use em like you would a regular credit card, insert Name Address and everything else.
When they ask for the name on the card, just type in "A Gift For You" without the qoutes.

Re: Pre-paid credit cards
I use a 3V Pre-Paid Visa card that pays into PayPal. I can get anywhere up to 350 Euro per card and any unused credit can be transfared to another card or refunded via mail. A 20 Euro card has no surcharge and there is only a E2.50 charge on everything after that. I find this a very useful and secure service and for reasons we won't go into atm, it's the only reason I can pay/play SS. http://www.3V.ie for any of my fellow Irishmen that are interested.

Re: Pre-paid credit cards
The bank my parents use (chase I think) has pre-paid gift cards which act like credit cards.
You can put any amount of money on it, but there is a huge negative...NEVER use it to buy dinner at a restaurant...apparently they take allot more then they should to make sure they get their payment.

PS. I heard that Atrix Entertainment and Habbo do that!! We arent talking about StarSonata giftcards or something distributed by SS LLC...I bet jeff wishes SS was big enough for that We are talking about the generic Visa or Mastercard prepaid debit cards that you can buy then use like a credit card to pay your sub on the SS website. -ERMAN

Yeah, what if your parent doesnt want you playing games, what if your friends dont have one, what if you cant get a bank account due to the fact that you need your parents signature and they arent willing. Most people know h2p irl, some dont, i know i do.

Just go to your local CVS or even a gas station and ask them if they have "Pre-paid debit cards" if they do, they buy one with enough on it to pay your sub. They might be preloaded or you can put however much you want on them. Once the money is used off the account then the card becomes worthless unless refilled. It is totally independent of all banks and credit companies. It is really a no brainer, im not sure why this thread is so long at this point. -ERMAN
