We fixed the save lag today. You should no longer see that nasty bit of lag that was occurring at the end of each save.

Awesome! As soon as you get the disconnect issue fixed I'll have no major complaints. (And that doesn't seem to be entirely the fault of SS)

yea, im really eagerly waiting for this next update -_-, when will it come out ?. so many supposed nasty bug and feature fixed : correct me if im wrong ( oom bug, ai aggro system (low shield atk), and the lag !!)

You should notice the difference right now. There is still a little lag here and there, but the huge save lag should be pretty much gone.

sigh maybe its because i have comcast but it seems like i have more lag than i usually did. Before it would only lag and then just go on to what i was doing. Now its lagging and then dcing and rcing and then me losing internet connection (this happens rarely but it only started after the lag fix). I also think its only SS because i can play Guild wars and Warrock normally with not lag at all. So maybe its just my comp but would redownloading a new client help? or possibly switching my ISp or somethin...i dunno i am just sayin i can't dg anymore let alone fight random ai. I can barely check my bases with its fine space whiskey operation goin on and thats it.

Yeah the lag for me since Saturday has been worse than normal. Im on Brighthouse networks cable internet. Its now almost continuously lagging and makes it very hard to get some kills with slaves.

The comcast (and other traffic shaping ISPs) related lag is what your experience there. I would descripe it as Comcasts fault for even doing trafic shaping, instead of just providing the service for which they are charging you, but I guess expanding their network bandwidt is sub-priority compared to expanding their pockets....

That said, its top priority for Jeff to make the game work despite Comcast and others attempt to limit your freedom to use the internet. We allready know how to fix it, and Jeff is working on it, but its a rather big change.
