Post What Star Sonata sound effects do you want changed the most?
I'm in the process of updating and improving the current in-game sound effects.

Q: What game specific sound effects do want to see improved most?

decrease the volume when you scoop creds, it is currently far louder than any other noise

Aside from that all I can think of is the backing music is kinda plain. But cant really think of any improvements that wouldnt ruin the atmosphere.

The warp sound could use a change. =)

And the cred scoop sound does need to be a little less loud, like Stooch said. =/

Base being attacked "Alarm" sounds (Fucking annoying if your base does a lot of healing).
Docking sound.

The one i hate the most are the damn weapon sounds.

The Energy, Surgical, Radiation and Laser suck...

Energy is good, the big thud as it hits the ship.

Laser is... well... laserish

Rad is also good

Surgical I am not too sure about.

Level up sound is good, a cooler one should be here now though.

possibly a graphic notifier for others to congratulate you and so you can see if you have sound off.

When you get hit by a laser, it should play a small portion of "blinded by the light" at maximum volume :lol:

Seriously, though, the background music needs some serious work... DG's should sould kinda creepy, and Suspenseful, and once you get attacked, it should flip into some sort of crazy energetic music, that ends with either the explosion of your enemy(all the current attackers), or ofter you haven't been hit or fired for 2.5 minutes.

level up sounds liek metal bending and scraping, BLECH

explosion needs work, I guess.

base deployment cound go in or somet, and the fucking base warning sound (when your in the bas) is ANNOYING
