not only do they seem underpowered, they dont even improve what the skill class needs
Like the zerker augs
they give bonuses to MF;ability, but if its limited to just 5 weapons then they have no use for that (as maxing arsenal and zerker will give the 5 slots)
Also what is electic tempering thing?
Edit - the T20 ShM aug seems rather good though

when will the more powerfull variants and the subskill augs be in? and how can we get them? can we trade them for Tokens as well?
like you said, the nerfs are extreme.. I hope those are not the only augs that I was saving exp augs for..
I don't want to go back to pure Combined Aug setups again.. sigh
the sniper exp gives:
-10% energy
-30%vis
20% damage
25% tracking and range
Didn't you say classes will get what they are missing? So for snipers like -rof, more stealth(since he loses some of his stealth boni) and a big damage bonus? why do I need tracking and range if I should be stealthy and only shoot once ever few seconds. The only weapons that are able to be used for that strategy are MDs and Venu Jacks. And those don't need range or tracking
even a common t16 Qokuji Aug is better than that rare t20 Expertise Aug
Shield +47%
Damage +16%
Vis -50%
Size 8

Electric tempering makes your weapons use less energy when fired.

well that makes the zerker augs rather useful, but no damage bonuses? or at least shield regen? (even agility?)

I havent seen the new stats yet but what I would expect from a zerker aug is energy recharge. Zerker is the new MF skill and what they need more then anything else is energy.

it is 60% shields, 60% energy BANK, weapon hold +50% and elec tempernig -25%
and none of the zerker skills give elec bonus

Sounds very good to me except the extra weapon hold seems not so needed.
Electric tempering -25% means that every weapon you fire will use 25% less energy, that should not be underestimated.

that is useful but it doesnt make up for the sudden loss of elec regen from 1 aug if it is used

But you will have a massive energy bank, most things will be dead before you run out of energy.
You can also get help from someone using energy trans, which Im guessing is part of the idea.

suppose the super high bank will allow bursts of shooting
it hasnt made much difference to me yet (only using a broken aku qa since the Thanar Astral Fire still wants the old MF skill to equip)

Ooh, actually that means with my current idea I can currently use -elec when firing Nice.

The changes you mentioned: great.
For the aug trade-in missions in Lyceum, Merchant & Station Mastery Expertise are still missing.
Slicer could kill off 1st level of Serengeti without much trouble, so drone strength seems reasonable (but I'd still like to see more opportunities for defensive bonuses).
-Slicer
can you trade the tokens in for other exp augs yet?

and what about the engineer exp? that thing is nasty...there is little diffrence between the T15 and the T20. untill the new weapons are out and they are actualy worth spending any money at all on its a completely useless augmenter for drone master..ima wait for drone master exp and pray to god you didnt just flush DM down the toilet like you admins with NO IN-GAME EXPERIANCE seem to be trying to do a lot recently. at least voom can understand a lot about what we go through. classes were supposed to be stronger if they can get alll their stuff trained..at least thats what i was led to belive. these exps...they dont compare in any way..maybe you need to go dging and see the rarity of the exp augs first.
and i dont see any engineers using the engineer exp. there are better augs he/she coud use..and i dont think we are going to be seeing "energy monkies" for a long time.

Caelestis wrote: I added all the new Class Augmenters to test2, you can find them for sale in The Acropolis. I know there will be a lot of complaining about how much weaker they are than the current ones, but the current ones are extremely overpowered. Some of them even up to 200% more powerful than what an augmenter of that level and rarity should be.
In time I will have more powerful variants on the Class Augmenters that you can build, as well as Subskill Augmenters. Please also keep that in mind before you come to the forums and rant.
