Maybe Atlum was right when he disabled them initially. There are a lot of new big fat graphics in people's signature files that make the forum look like a bunch of banner ads if you ask me. But I will put it to a vote.

I kept telling Atlum to remove them in past and I feel the same way now. The forum looks a lot better without them.

I agree with this decision to remove graphics from signatures. If you want someone to look at your pretty sig graphic, put a link to it in the signature instead. While avatars are to the side where you will only check to see who made the post (often times just associating such a thing with the graphic there), signature graphics are in the middle of the content which one is attempting to read and can take up needless space and simply look a bit unappealing.

Besides, I can always type out my random in-game quotes.

I say just limit the size of em. some people have cool siggies with pictures that could be resized and still look cool. I enjoy them personally.

Having all the graphics is a total waste of bandwidth.

I think even posting IMG images should be removed and use URLs instead. But that's just me.

Use your avatars for creativity. An avatar is enough to quickly tell who is posting and they can be plenty creative.

I say remove them or resize, and in addition remove GIFs from the sigi/avatar allowable format.. sorry to all you bouncing blowing head off avatars but they take forever to load on any slower connection and although I myself don;t have a slow connection I think that it is important to cater to all players of the game.
