I can't consistently select a target for my drones.

I select all of my drones and left click on the target I want them to shot at. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't and when it doesn't the drones stop firing altogether which results in me dieing and then loosing one to five drones. (Getting you arse shot off by Zebras makes scooping the drones in order to protect them impossible at times.)

So far this has cost me 5 Armada Charge Drones and 13 Armada Inferno Drones.

What I'd like to see is when droners have drones out all they should have to do is target an enemy and either shoot it or tractor it in order for all of the drones to target it until the target is dead.

There is your issue, RTS controls uses right click to assign a target...

Funnies aside - he does have a fair point. RTS controls for drones and bases is severely broken which can cause loss of drones and it has caused at least one BvB session to fail due not being able to make a use of the RTS controls as they didn't work at all.

Sometimes RTS command bugs selected drones and they stop shooting at all ;/

or when using armada infernos if you target an enemy using the rts controls the drones Refuse to use lincins which can be pretty irritating, or when you accidently assign a armada charge to an enemy or another target it will completly refuse to heal other drones/the player, i have just stopped using the rts controls with drones beacuse its so damn buggy

Many times when I ask my armada infernos to attack something specific, they will ALWAYS use lion's breath and never use the scratch or incin. This is very annoying and probably has something to do with the range at which I right clicked them.

Yeah as summed up in this thread: RTS controls for drones is terrible. You are way better off without using them, the only time I ever feel that RTS controls actually does something correct is for slaves, so RTS controls for drones and bases needs fixing.

I've never used the RTS controls for drones, I do just fine without them. Used to C1 aggro style.
