I have a base that has plenty of space oats and MRE factories, the rations go up on a normal bases and the space oats go up as well as there is just enough MREs to supply surplus rations while allowing space oats to gather as well.

Might I add there is also plenty of money on the base, each time the server goes down it seems the base runs out of rations a little later(not sure on the time). This has happened quite a few times now and is very annoying.

Have you tried re-equipping the MRE's after a server crash/patch/reset? I noticed this issue as well however toggling the mre's off and on again has fixed this issue every crash for my main food supply. Cumbersome but a decent work around for now I suppose?

This is a major issue, happens on alot of the bases and is stupidly annoying!

Could it be at all related to colonies buying oats? They buy huge amts sometimes. Server reset they buy max amt at first click.

Nah, colonies aren't a factor in this. It seems directly related to MRE's, since everything else checks out.
