The ships in SS are not perfect reflectors.

We see color by what is NOT absorbed by the surface the light is reflecting from.

A GREEN SHIP, for example, will NOT become puke blue when next to a blue star.

And yet a Blue Giant in real life produces visible white light. Realistic, huh?

I've stopped trying to talk to people and telling them that what they're doing makes everyone else, even their closest family members, can think is stupid as fuck, and the opinion of the person in question goes from ok or tolerated to "fucking idiot, I dont want anything to do with him/her anymore".

I actually agree with this suggestion. Suns, at the moment, produce too much harsh light, and not enough soft ambient light. If they produced much more ambient light instead of the point-source light they currently make, it would look a lot better, imo.
