The AI has no skill modifications. Their special items are drone deployers, not missiles. Note that the AI has neither an auto-generator nor crates, because you can cap them.

Note: medium AP missiles have not changed damage ~ they have been slightly increased in speed [+10], nothing more. On test, the launcher has been modded to +1 missile.

So ~ x8 medium AP missiles, in vollies of 3 or 2 = 3750 damage on test, 2500 on live currently, in 3 or 4 potential volleys. 12k total.

Hardly "25K DPM MISSILE", is it? The missiles have had their shields boosted on test, and they go speed 85. Which is slower than most players of level 160 - 200 (if we divide the AI level by 2, we get the optimal XP bonus for killing them).

Comparable AI levels are Scruples (355), Sawtooth X (360), Ruby Envoys (371) or Space Blue Gammas (420). SPGs have much higher shields and far greater DPS, btw.



Note: The Reconditioned Class of new AI are neutral, and will not attack players, and are single non-teamed AI. If you attack them to level off, expect some teeth to them. They're not designed to be easily levelled off, they're there for pirating / capping, and as such are inherently better protected than hostile meanies gangs.

While we are on the topic of ai and missiles, were infernoes looked at? They were doing massive amounts of damage with those 3x missiles and they are supposed to be the AI to cap for money D:

I'm not sure, he told me the build never finished. I do know that there is at least one other built as I saw one somewhere but didn't bother to remember the name.

I tried to build it before but the uni reset was announced days later. Partially my fault.

I have another bp but my main concern atm is getting my PBF fully geared and making about 20-30b to have the R+ built and geared after that.

Slightly pruned the number of missiles the reconditioned class of ships carry ~ so they'll do less damage.

This depressed me, so I fixed up + buffed Earth Force. Guess who uses MIRVs & other new missiles now? *muahahah*.


I caught someone mentioning that a certain small type of missile, either kinetic or AP, cost vastly more than other types. I looked over the factory production bps and so on all through the chain, and couldn't see it. (Although, yes, a type III small crate with 50 missiles cost > than a large AP type I with 10).
