oh yea, id much rather get some stupid scrap parts than a brand new lincin, the equipment durability is a joke as well, when the hell was it necessary to have that? Why dont you just make it so that even if u die you get some scrap parts to, just to show you tried your best! also show a robot patting your characters portrait on the head, along with some motivational words!

GG is punishing to whoever could not afford 20+ GG20/21's. And like that devmin said, could annihilate years of work in an instant if you ran out.

Imagine if your 5x Primal Lincins fell off because someone caught you in a gank in a protected gal? Whiole you'd continue playing, thats a big loss, even for people with Oly+ ships.

He's somewhat correct. We have a large group of helpful people that would go out of their way to assist new players. However, we also have a huge demographic of unkind individuals who would abandon Oly runs for the chance to smash some f2ps.

I'm sure SS will maintain the same self-policing politics it's had for the last few years. If one person or team is engaging in too much dickery, others will defend the newbs.

Sooo, I lay my bases now when my sub is still active and then my sub suddenly runs out. What happens?

When your sub runs out, you're not an F2P, you're an unsubbed P2P. Once an account is subbed, it's flagged forever as P2P.

And in addition, we plan on stopping all extraction and building and such for bases belonging to unsubbed p2p, so people can't just sub at the beginning of the uni and then manage the base with other chars.

Isn't it bad enough that unsubbed accounts lose their trade skills? I'm not aware of anyone who tries this strategy anymore.

To use this strategy, you must terraform large amounts of colonies for each account, and keep a much weakened base on each planet, with your own T20 kits in gal as well. Galaxy must be aggro too. You need to be fucking far away in a deadend series of galaxies or be on a team big enough to shrug off a war.

Any bases or slaves that are killed just buttfuck the player further. Like enk said, I doubt anyone does this. Too much at stake; I'd sub all accounts.

You can still have unsubbed characters that can make bases and use drones that are able to hold a galaxy as a simple connector kit, or use trade slaves. The most powerful trade slaves are not those with MFM, it is the MF trade slaves with capacity augmenters that makes them powerful.

If some Admin or some fancy forum-troll brings up the old topic, then we can look into it and see what was written there.

Tho, I am a fan of this:

Unsubbed characters loose all trade skills
The trade bay is unequipped
Extractions will be stopped
Trade slaves loose their orders
All weapons are unequipped
Drones get their weapons unequipped

I'm pretty sure its MfM that makes them powerful, but zerker travelfields helps :)

I am not going to reveal secret setups! MFM helps a lot for sure, but you can do just fine with a character without any trade skill for setting up simple, but effective trade slaves.
