Yes, that diagram is correct. As I said, I'm not too sure if it's better "fixed" or "broken". Fixed is much better at hitting close and medium targets, and for some reason, much, much better with thoraxes. So much better that I think it makes thoraxes OP. Broken is better against fast and agile targets at long range, but worse against fast and agile targets at medium range. Also remember that I changed the burn time to get increased by your range skills and augs, so that torpedoes can go much faster now than before, which will make them a lot stronger against SD's at middle distance than torpedoes ever were at long distance.

But I don't think we should answer this theoretically on the forum. We should play with them some more on test (though C1 test is currently broken) and see what we think.

Yeah, you can still run them over, but it depends on how big your ship is and how high the torpedo goes. If we keep them like this in C2, then there would be less chance that the torpedoes get run over in the latter stages of the arming phase.

how does this affect snipers and Zebra Hooves? we all know that is by far the most commonly used weapon in pvai and pvp.

To be honest, only way to make torpedoes better now is increasing the projectile speed, torpedoes should be going way faster than they are now, it would actually make sense.

I hope the admins realize non-tracking projectiles are almost useless in PvAI and completely useless at shooting anything with a mind.

BFDs are harder to use now, and only people with knowledge on how to use them, still use them with great success.

Zebra Hooves Torpedoes are now harder to aim with, but then again, when you hit, you still lock up your target in a physical critical hit round of painful shots.

I know how to use them Thermal. The problem is that anyone who can think can make the torpedoes entirely useless so it really doesn't matter how much I know about them I can't stop someone from abusing the fact that the torp cannot hit him.

Before they at least had to tank through an initial wave of torps to sit on them to make them useless now they simply have to spiral in around my drones and lol as all the torps miss them yet the drone continues to rely on it.
