Yeah, I thought the App Ward was too flat at first, too, but after playing with it a bit, I don't notice anymore. Feel free to submit an improved model.

Yes, you can use shift+click to queue up as many different orders as you want. Yes, you can select your ships by clicking on them in the main screen. (I just find it easier to select the mini icons.) We will be adding double click to select all ships of that kind, triple click to select everything, and something like ctrl+a to also select everything. Maybe will add a selection box, not sure on that yet.

Adding an "equip controlbot" to the context menu in the ship list is a great idea.

"id_select_ship" just selects that ship as your current one. Not sure why it's named that. I blame some programmer.

No force attack order. I never considered it. Not sure if we really want that or not. Not possible to override the AI's weapon. AI are generally really smart about weapon selection, so I never considered the possibility.

Because you're JeffL.
Any view besides absolute top down eagle eye(C1) makes that model look flat.
