 AbsentisWith the big beef that sniper received I can no longer justify all the built in bonuses on the Absentis. So with next patch they will be removed.

edit: which is not to say that its not OP.... but removing ALL the inbuilts makes it exactly like the juju, with a mediocre tweak gen (ppgt are as good...), different resists (not better), and less inbuilt elec... _________________ Pies are yummy. Re: Absentis Give us a Sniper version of the Myriad then please. The DPS loss will hurt, the biggest pain will be the loss of tempering and regen, which I don't think can be justified.

Re: Absentis Another prime example of the Admins overreacting. If your going to nerf the ship, you better nerf the price as well. It's expensive for a reason, that reason being its powerful.

Re: Absentis Awesome; we all just ran around spent 60+ Bil on a ship for it's stats and now those stats are being removed. For a new player like me acquiring this ship took all my resources.
If this ship is OP than so is Lion remove all its inbuilts. it still out DPS's me until i have been with a target ten minutes. This is the BS Nerf after its put in i was worried about. It was the reason i attempted to show Jeff what could be done so any changes would be made before it went live rather than screwing people after it is put in. TaekwondoBoy |

Re: Absentis Yes, it does appear that the zerkers who cried that they werent the single most powerful class in the game anymore have won. However, the Lion is SUPPOSED to be t21. The Absentis should be in that supposed to be but not category. In fact, lets give all the classes a retardedly expensive and powerful SUPPOSED to be t21 ship. In the case of zerker and sniper, it is not the class that is broken but the gear. The Lincin should be t25.

Re: Absentis Would it not make more sense to remove the offensive stats? everyone is only pissing and moaning about how it does to much DPS, it even does as much as a lincin zerk in some cases omg!, but yea wouldnt just taking the damage out, maybe range and tracking be a better solution? at the end of the day you dont pay 40b to have something that tanks a bit better than a juju

Re: Absentis Absentis was OP and was made OP on purpose as a way to beef sniper. Now that the skill got beefed I cant let the ship stay OP.
Saying the DPS loss with hurt is just being silly, sniper has just recently gotten the biggest DPS beef in the history of SS. Claiming the tweak gen is mediocre is also just being silly. Absentis is still the best stealth sniper ship in the game and more then worth it's price.
