Which towing ships were the same people as the bases fighting? If a base is fighting and generating aggro, that aggro is shared with the owner, so the owner will get attacked. If a person comes in with a tractor ship and doesn't own any bases involved, then he won't likely be attacked. But I believe this is less an issue on test than on live. It's just that on live, people have been fighting each other so long, that they all have lots of aggro built up, so it's hard to know exactly why people are being attacked.

Aggro between players decay. I haven't figured out the rate, but it does decay. Somewhere between 1 and 3 days.

aggro decays at 0.1% every 10 seconds, where you generally get 1 point of aggro per 1 point of damage inflicted.

if this is in its shit still lc traction ships can tractor for like 20-30 second without getting shot me 4 seconds then pew, no the base's are not mine and the lc traction ships have base's in there -.- explain please.

I like this more. From what I read this would be bad as ShM's are completely avoided vs. Snipers and other classes...

It's actually the opposite problem thats been noticed on multiple occasions now, bases have attacked ShMs before other classes, even hostility augged zerkers.

I'd rather have the heals of attacking players down first, as then the Zerks would die after that. I don't see how this is a problem, aside from being counter to the code.

A bug that makes aggro almost impossible to control in PvB.

Indeed, on all the PvB I have been involved in recently I have noticed the bases going right for the ShMs. Makes difficult PvB near impossible.
