The App Ward looks kind of thin for being a large freighter.

Are ship effects not completed yet? I noticed there weren't any particles on the App Ward or glow on the pax.

Yeah, just a few things, the glows/particles are missing from the pax/ward. Being a guy who flys an app ward+ around, I would like to see it a bit bigger.

That's the MMS, not the app ward.

They both look the same, just one is bigger.

Coming along nicely.

But 90% of the ships are too flat...

Some ships should be flat but the majority shouldn't be.

Zebra is nice-ish, i think the downwards slant of the "wings" on either side could be more pronounced.

MMS should be cut out of a cuboid.

Wing IV looks nice flattish.

Paxian Ships look nice flat although they could be a bit thicker at the front, like a wing maybe?

DF looks cool, once again could be made to feel more substantial by being thicker

App Ward is probably first on the list of ships to be reworked.

With christmas coming up i'm wondering if i need to save some money for a new computer. Any guess as to how SS will run on my Netbook and what setting i should put it on? It's about the fastest computer in my house so this is my best bet. There isen't alot of programs on it so it runs fast. I prefer to only run StarSonata (Unlyess i'm idle) otherwise things can lag.

1.6 GHz Atom N270, Intel 945GSE chipset with integrated Intel GMA 950 for graphics. There is a 160 GB HDD and 1 GB DDR2 RAM.

I'd prefer one big engine exhaust flame/fume thingy than the 9 odd smaller ones there.

Nice vid! EF ships look fuckin huge I love it, animation on the DF is sweeet. All engines look the same to me and laser all look the same, small and thin. Liking the way the ships travel other planets and the way u look alot more in space and far away from everything.

Pretty much any netbook will have to run it on the lowest settings. Netbooks are not made for gaming.
