Umm... well Kasa Quu's are pretty much always using Jiji Qa weapon, on most of ai's.

The Ukukuu Qa is never being used except on the weak ai's like zebucart.

So I say make 5 shoot actually to be used for killing...

Defo. Since if we can now aug em, slap RoF on em, stack some fires, really fuck with the tougher enemies!

As someone mentioned, can the platform aug series be looked at?
And are there any future plans for a t20-21 temp mining drone?

Yeah, platform augs need to be beefed, now that base augs are so good. The only use I could find for them was to store x4 of the cheapest on every base I own, along with an aug destroyer module. That way, if my base was about to be pwnt, I could overhull it to an absurd amount as a "fuck you" to whoever tried to take it. :lol:

Hmmm

The Quafir + have had a severe nerf

Ex and athena augs removed and replaced by T10 augs slots :(
So they are weaker even if augged.

Since they came with built-in augs we have effectively been robbed of
those really nice augs and left with empty slots, thanks alot :(

2 Exc Range and 1 Athena Aug + 1 Adonis Aug is worse than 2 Adonis Augs in my opinion. So I like it, more custom designed permanent drones is all nice.

And I love the changes and fixes that are done by Papertiger, that I say as a highend Engineer with top gear, knowing what the class is capable of.

I have some plans for a bunch of new drones you could get from perilous AI (higher level counterparts to lower tech drones that drop from blue ships and clefts). Actually once the Olympus related work is done, I will see about expanding loot tables of perilous mobs, so that each AI type has at least some special drops.

Looking at platform augs has been on the "to do" list for a while now, I just never could get around to it. I'll look into them once more important stuff is done.

Depends, if you fill the 2 new slots with adonis outpost and adonis shield augs, your drone would receive 100% range, 425% radar and 200% shields, as opposed to 45% range, 200% radar, 50% shield and 29% damage from the Athena and exc. range augs. That was the reason no one bothered with Qafir+ drones other than for DR commods, if I recall.

Well done work Papertiger :D

I loved the drones on test, to me, Forcefield Generators is the most amazing drone ever given to human kind.

Just a small question, can you remove the offensive weapons on the Command and Control Drone line? The Etheral Laser U or whatever laser they have is pointless, and can give the drone unwanted aggro seeing as it is a support drone, not an offensive drone.

Paper how about helping the Qa Quuu drone a bit atm it has all of what 1 open aug slot what built in augs does it come with and could ya remove or increase the slots they do run around 500 mill build cost

Qa Quuu Drones are extremely tough Perma Drones. They are basically kasa Quu's that don't use the base weapons.

Also, the weapons on C&C drones are actually rather nice. It means that the C&C drone acts as about half of a titan or inferno at range, which is a noticeable boost to your power.

I want xeno drones! :P

You are wrong Paper Tiger quafir + drones were used in large quantities, at least in the teams I know.

The reason is they have in-built augs and can be augmented by 2 further augs.

When you are defending several systems you need to lay a lot of drones, 15 per system is common, with 4 augs per drone that is a LOT of augs (60) for ONE system. You also need replacements in a war situation.
Buildng them is a major project, storing the numbers of adonis drones needed is almost impossible.

I invite you to tour the shops in the game and try to find augs used for bases and drones, they are not available in the numbers needed.

Currently we have the quafir available with 4 slots so if you have plenty of augs you can use quafir. We use quafir+ Specifically to save on augs.

I suggest IF you intend to modify the Quafir and Quafir+ you simply switch them around and give the athena and Ex range to the basic quafir and not nerf both drones.
