Post Proposed PvP modification: Require a HQ
Here is a proposed modification to PvP:

In addition to existing restrictions, in order to attack someone, you must either have hatred towards them (they attacked you first) or your team must have a HQ. The idea is this would cut down on the solitary griefers or the teams that attack other people with nothing to lose themselves. If people are being jerks and attacking everyone, then you have the option to at least try to take out their HQ to stop it. In addition, we could also make a HQ required to declare and maintain war to reduce the PvP ranges of teams without a HQ.

What do you guys think?

Hmm :?

I'm unsure about this, though if had to choose it makes sense to impliment it.. Obviously don't make it apply to f2ps.. You'll have to add timeframes so HQs can't just be deployed continiously after one is destroyed.

why not make 2 dif HQ? if pvpers want a pvp team.. let them have a PVP HQ that does more dmg and suc.. but with less shield.... and ppl who dont want pvp have a HQ with more defence and less dmg....

and a time limit on HQ's cant be done becuase of the way the owning galaxies system works... lose HQ.. u lose all ur gals.. so u cant have a time limit on HQ's....

why not put a time limit on the pvp countdown that increases each time u lay a new HQ so like
1 hq - pvp count down 1h
2nd hq laid - 2h
3rd hq - 4h
4th hq- 6
ect.... so u can lay a HQ immediatly.. jsut have to wait logner to pvp

Too complicated with too much room for abuse. The proposition seems fair to me; want to pvp? you have to risk a little something to be able to do so

Two HQ types would be too complex, but I agree on the timer. Otherwise, the PvPer will just find an empty, out-of-the-way galaxy and lay a basic HQ, go pwn people until they track down and kill his HQ, then do it again.

This may shock many, but I am actually in support of this idea. You can still be a solitary PvPers, but only the ones with some respect and intelligence would be able to do it.
