How would you like random DGs to work

You still have to kill 1/2 of them to continue as it is now. Ease off the Ganja, moderation is key.

correct however it takes a lot longer for a DG to respawn than it takes for the gate to lock just the DG being empty serving to unlcok the gate would give a much larger window of time.

Disconnecting and keys disappearing is one of the major problems, as well as AI scooping keys. There have also been a few minor problems reported in the last few weeks due to the changes in the spawning.

Also for example, if you group up with a friend and you start the dg first while your friend is still on his way, you can start clearing the DG rather than having to wait until he gets there.

Another advantage is that you can kill a few AI, warp out and regen, then warp back in to finish the level.

The major thing is that it would let us disable the timer for respawning of AI until the whole room has been cleared, without having to worry about players being unable to advance in the DG because someone left 1 or 2 AI in the level - enough to stop the respawn, but not enough to advance further in the DG.

Do I understand you correctly in that the respawn would not start until the level has been cleared? If so, then that makes me much more supportive of the whole idea.

i dislike is because the only times i actually dg is when i camp one specific lvl in a dg. it takes me long enough to clear 8 platties or MF reavers that others start spawning therefore i don't get bored and gain a steady amount of levels. i can easily clear a whole lvl in a minute or so but then i sit around for 15 minutes and get too bored to bother.

I say, make it the new way, but make it so you only have to kill half of the AI(rounded down) to go to the next level. Have killing half of them start the respawn timer, as well. If someone takes over a half an hour to kill half of a DG level, they're not leveling anyway.

i dont like the idea of respawn starting only after the lvl is cleared if that is what you meant. I can see some clear issues there. One being if only one ai is left alive in a 6 ai lvl there is no way the next person through the dg can get in if they have to have 3 kills without waiting an insane time. And besides some people like it that ai spawn quick; people who want to do the dg after a really, really, really slow person or just as soon as possible.

Just make it so the ai dont have scoops, then they wolnt scoop keys. They don't need scoops for anything.

People can already follow others into dgs easily enough, and for some reason do it even if you have obviously cleared all the levels. How will this new system be for people following in?

Warping in and out = carebear, first time i have used that, but if you cant do a DG with the type or number of ai you shouldn't be there.

I say no change, you can leave keys to get to branches as is, gates lock behind you as is, you can pop in and out for regening if you suck, If you can't do dgs now there is something wrong with you.
