Shield should look like a... Shield.
Weapons should have something weapon related. We older players know that 3 dots means weapon, I just think it could be clearer for newbies.
Also I dont know what the Icon will be for an item form ship, but I foresee it being very similar to the engine one.
I assume Parasites and Fires will have their own Icons, or are they being rejigged to not appear in your inventory?
But I am just picking holes in your good work. You get enough praise without me adding more on top.

Re: Feedback requested: C2 equipment list only thing i am concerned about is this; will we be able to see the number on some items wile fighting? for instance, what about missiles and fighters? if the inventory is closed we cannot see how many we have. aside from that...my god dat iz some smexy shiz.

Please remember the amount of items that engineers will be using. I personally carry 6 tractors, at least 5 different types of drones, as well and chargers, solar panels, etc, etc, etc. So i'll probably have my inventory open most of the time.
