They must have some sort of in built blocker that disappears upon capture, Nab. Seeing my Vjack do 8k per bullet on a Zebu turn into 2k per bullet on a GBoy AI is not my idea of killing them in one shot. Those ai also have 40% energy resist at MAX. The ones that made my damage go down were ones with 10% resist to energy. Wtf?

So... you want to make it massively difficult for an Engineer to be all that useful in such a mission? (aside from using beams to power a 'zerker or something) Due to being dragged all over the shop, whilst relying on a 'zerker or something to shoot it to hell.

Tractoring is a core skill most relevant to the Engineer class. Make the mission Engineer themed!

With the current power of tractors it would be downright imbecilic to introduce more that are stronger in any way, all you could really do to them without breaking them beyond all comprehension would be decreases to size and elec.

Meh, i'd rather that they add new and more varied engineer beams. Maybe tractors for other classes with interesting effects. e.g. a -speed tractor for a 'zerker.

Not zerker. Back when admins were designing the new classes, they promised a variety of different debuff tractors for Gunners. They were supposed to be the enemy debuff class, while FC was the friendly buff one. It was forgotten/abandoned, like so many other things, and never mentioned again.

Make it an uber with an aura that decreases thrust by 100% :lol: Give him 2 different kinds of guards. Some with pull tractors, some with push tractors.

I wanted that uber to NEED Engineers to do. If you brought no engineers, or an engineer only glued to a zerker, then you'd be there all day.

But with engineers in like thatches weighed down by heavy stuff(like a hundred sets of adonis gear), latched onto the uber so he can't move(his speed would be like 50 at max), so basically it would be an Alby with 10x the weight and 10x the thrust, but 0.5x the firepower.

Perhaps a Capital ship version of an AssBehe(different ship, tho)?

There could be a boss, which has a DPS depending on its speed, cannot be effected by physical weapons, only with a special tractor that requires engineer skill, at a high lvl. So basically as the engineer tows the boss, its dps sinks onto a healable lvl. The boss has no engine, just anchoring into the subspace (if engineer releases it, it stops fast, and gets so much DPS that cant be outhealed.)

id also suggest bosses requiring huge resists of one type of damage to be killed.
