The holiday event went live today and as I normally ask, if I could get player feedback I would appreciate it. I am mostly looking for impressions of the new bosses difficulty, drops, et cetra, although feedback on the overall event is welcome.

I only ask that you keep it constructive, even if it is negative (flaming doesn't help me make better content).

As I said in all chat, I think making the x-mas uber a roamer is an awful idea. Even if you got it right this time, and it never goes into wild space galaxies, one team will find the spawn point and time and just camp the fuck out of it, like they always do. It would be much better if you put him in a special galaxy with a lockout, like you did for the zombie rat broodmother a few years ago.

I have Tweo Front Teeth if your interested. I may find the mission though and use them to do the mission or whatever the use for them is. Anyway though the new event looks good. It's fun hunting for cool drops. When is the event for the SSS going to start? I don't want to miss it two years in a row.

No drop of pax x-mas anymore? i killed a bunch of platties, no x-mas drop at all from them. Else hmm roaming event ubers are just pain to find, since some group is always camping. A special DG with even a lockout would be much nicer, so everyone can go and try his luck (short spawn time 10minutes, lockout 1day at minimum). Else makes always fun to scoop useless stuff, or for what is the x-mas tree good for and the most junk

Yeah I would much prefer a holiday dg next time, to keep the drops rare just make it low drop rate for the really good stuff but some decent stuff at good drop rate so its still fun. Im loving the X-mas tweaks though.

pls say theres pax xmases or those things are gonna go through the roof

Make the uber a special DG to prevent camping and give us some missions to use these useless ass commods that just clog the drop tables and dont even make me giggle anymore.

Im also not to fond of random ai dropping random xmas items.

why is it that every event comes down to camping ai to get the stuff?

put in special dg's!
put in special dg's with special bosses!
put in christmas ai!
give rats christmas hats!
do anything that doesnt come down to stupid camping!

I was wondering the same thing... 1 roaming uber with fairly slow spawn time plus some rare global drops does NOT qualify as "extremely special". I was looking forward to something like Graveyard, that halloween has been the best holiday event so far imo.
